Matt Phillips
Matt Phillips
Matt comes from a long line of southern preachers, born in NC to a nurse & a psychologist. His lyrics are evocative & autobiographical, alluding to biblical history, transcendentalist literature, & notes from psych 101. With his one-of-a-kind stratocaster and a dynamic duo of guitar amps in tow, his tone is warm & familiar, like a hot cup of coffee. With over 10,000 hours of vocal performance experience, from the North Carolina Boys Choir to the street corners of Chapel Hill, Matt will tell you the hardest truths in the sweetest way: “I must be onto something, ‘cause I smile when I play the blues.”
Anne-Claire
Anne-Claire
North Carolina artist Anne-Claire writes music influenced by her love of soul divas and intimate singer-songwriters. Currently celebrating the release of her new single Second Time (March 31, 2017) Anne-Claire ventures further into personal songwriting with a soulful sensibility. Anne-Claire's music is rich and melody-driven, paired with lyrics that use magic as metaphor and emotional empowerment as a guide. Mixing organic instruments with synthetic sounds enhances the dreamlike quality of her work. Anne-Claire brings a unique and exciting sound - danceable and emotive, plaintive and fun, percussive and romantic.
Curtis Stith
Curtis Stith
I'm Curtis Stith, and independent folk/pop singer songwriter from Pittsboro, NC. My influences include Billy Joel, Ed Sheeran, Passenger, Mumford and Sons, NeedToBreathe, and countless others with similar sounds. My first "EP" will be coming out on July 17th, and will be available for pre-order starting July 3rd. The "Why Not" pre-release tour begins June 29th. Check out my events page for more information.

When I was 6 years old, I started playing the violin. Since then, I have picked up drums, guitar, bass, and a bit of piano. I have been pouring my heart and soul into writing and recording music for years, and have started playing live shows over the past year.

Gabriel David
Gabriel David
Gabriel David's band focuses on his original work, combining pop songwriting, R&B arrangements, and soulful performances to yield a live show simultaneously classic and modern. He lives in Chapel Hill, NC, where you'll find him either failing to do nothing or trying to do everything.

His tenure in two successful local bands (Morning Brigade 2011-2014 and Virgins Family Band 2012) has left him a two-time TEDxUNC alum and a Hopscotch veteran and has allowed him to work with producers like Chris Stamey and John Davenport and play to sold-out crowds at Local 506.

He's emerged from those bands with a fresh focus on writing his own material, though he also sings and plays with cover band Carolina Sidekicks and regularly performs session work as a studio keyboardist.
